Artist Prize 2025 for Gulnara Heinz's acrylic painting "Connection"

I am very pleased to announce that I have been awarded the Best Artist Award 2025 – a major art prize in the field of contemporary art – at the 11th Geoje International Art Festival in South Korea.

The festival, also known as Blooming Art , is an international platform for contemporary painting and sculpture, bringing together works from all over the world—beyond geographical and cultural boundaries. This international art award means a great deal to me because it demonstrates that my artistic language touches people—regardless of origin or context.

A special appreciation of my work

The artist award was presented by an international jury chaired by Norwegian artist and curator Heidi Fosli and festival director Yu Cheon Eob , whom I also sincerely thank. I am deeply moved by their words of appreciation and the trust they have placed in my work.

The award-winning work “Connection”

“Connection” – Acrylic on canvas, 2025

My acrylic painting "Connection" was honored – a quiet moment between human and animal. It depicts a woman and a horse, connected by gaze and presence. Surrounded by golden ears of corn, wildflowers, and vibrant goldfinches, it creates an atmosphere that radiates calm and trust.

For me, it is less a classic portrait, but rather a work about the invisible between two living beings – about closeness without words.

Encouragement for the further artistic path

This international art award is not only a personal honor for me, but also an encouragement to consistently pursue my artistic path – with inner depth and a clear view of what is essential.

Thanks for the support

My thanks go to everyone who supports my work—whether through interest, exchange, sharing my art, or purchasing a painting. Without this network of silent and active support, much of it would not be possible.
