Artist Prize 2025 for Gulnara Heinz's acrylic painting "Connection"

I am very pleased to announce that I have been awarded the Best Artist Award 2025 at the 11th Geoje International Art Festival in South Korea – a significant art prize in the field of contemporary art .

Das Festival, auch bekannt als Blooming Art , ist eine internationale Plattform für zeitgenössische Malerei und Skulptur, auf der Werke aus aller Welt zusammenkommen – jenseits geografischer und kultureller Grenzen. Diese internationale Kunstauszeichnung bedeutet mir besonders viel, denn sie zeigt, dass meine künstlerische Sprache Menschen berührt – unabhängig von Herkunft oder Kontext.

A special recognition of my work

The artist prize was awarded by an international jury – chaired by the Norwegian artist and curator Heidi Fosli and festival director Yu Cheon Eob , to whom I also extend my sincere thanks. Their words of appreciation and their confidence in my work deeply move me.

The excellent work “Connection”

My acrylic painting "Connection" was recognized – a quiet moment between human and animal. It depicts a woman and a horse, connected by their gaze and presence. Surrounded by golden ears of wheat, wildflowers, and lively goldfinches, it creates an atmosphere that radiates peace and trust.

For me, it is less a classic portrait and more a work about the invisible between two living beings – about closeness without words.

Encouragement for the further artistic path

This international art award is not only a personal honor for me, but also an encouragement to consistently continue my artistic path – with inner depth and a clear view of what is essential.
